\"Misir\u0130stanbul\u2019un dar sokaklar\u0131nda, M\u0131s\u0131r \u00c7ar\u015f\u0131s\u0131\u2019n\u0131n baharat kokulu labirentinde kayboldu\u011fum bir g\u00fcnd\u00fc. Ya\u011fmur ince ince ya\u011f\u0131yor, kald\u0131r\u0131m ta\u015flar\u0131 parl\u0131yordu. Bar\u0131\u015f Man\u00e7o\u2019nun \u201cNane Limon Kabu\u011fu\u201d \u015fark\u0131s\u0131 zihnimde d\u00f6n\u00fcp duruyordu; \u00e7ocuklu\u011fumun hastal\u0131k g\u00fcnlerinde annemin haz\u0131rlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 o s\u0131cak kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131 hat\u0131rlat\u0131yordu. \u015eark\u0131da bir\u00e7ok baharat ge\u00e7mesine ra\u011fmen nane limon kabu\u011fu ile s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 olan annemin kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131nda \u00a0hatmi \u00e7i\u00e7e\u011fi, \u00e7\u00f6rek otu, biraz tar\u00e7\u0131n kar\u0131\u015f\u0131mda yer alm\u0131\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 vard\u0131 ama her nedense bir tutam zencefile kar\u0131\u015f\u0131mda yer vermemi\u015fti. Belki de \u00e7ocuklu\u011fumda bizim y\u00f6rede zencefil \u00e7ok bilinmedi\u011finden veya ula\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131 zor oldu\u011fundan da kaynaklan\u0131yor olabilirdi. Ancak y\u0131llarca zencefile ula\u015fma sorunum olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 halde annemin kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131nda yer almad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in zencefili o kar\u0131\u015f\u0131ma dahil etmemek i\u00e7in direndim. San\u0131r\u0131m annemin bu kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n sevdi\u011fim o tad\u0131n\u0131 bozaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcm i\u00e7ten i\u00e7e.. \u0130\u015fte o g\u00fcn, M\u0131s\u0131r \u00e7ar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda bir baharat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcnde durdum. \u0130lk denemem, al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m nane-limon kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131na zencefili eklemek oldu. Renk de\u011fi\u015fti, koku keskinle\u015fti. Ama en \u00e7ok da tad\u0131… O tan\u0131d\u0131k s\u0131cakl\u0131k, yerini odunsu bir ac\u0131l\u0131\u011fa b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131 kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131k\u00e7a zencefil, tortu halinde barda\u011f\u0131n dibine \u00e7ekiliyordu. Sanki dahil olmamakta direniyor, kendi varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 koruyordu. Bu direni\u015f, bana kendimi hat\u0131rlatt\u0131.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yarat\u0131c\u0131 yazarl\u0131k dersinde hocam\u0131z, \u201cBu hafta bir zencefil al\u0131n, tad\u0131n\u0131 yaz\u0131n,\u201d dedi\u011finde, y\u0131llard\u0131r ka\u00e7\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131m o bitkiyle y\u00fczle\u015fmeye karar verdim. Marketten ald\u0131\u011f\u0131m zencefilden bir par\u00e7a y\u0131kad\u0131m, a\u011fz\u0131ma ald\u0131m. \u00d6nce olumsuz bir tat, sonra ac\u0131mt\u0131rak bir yay\u0131lma… Dama\u011f\u0131mda gezinen o keskinlik, bo\u011faz\u0131mdan a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 inerken v\u00fccudumun her k\u00f6\u015fesine dokunuyordu. Sanki i\u00e7imdeki diren\u00e7le konu\u015fuyordu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ge\u00e7en hafta \u0130stanbul\u2019a gitti\u011fimde, yine o baharat\u00e7\u0131ya u\u011frad\u0131m. Sat\u0131c\u0131 beni tan\u0131d\u0131. \u201cZencefilin direncini k\u0131rd\u0131n m\u0131?\u201d diye sordu. G\u00fcl\u00fcmsedim. \u201cHay\u0131r,\u201d dedim, \u201cama art\u0131k onunla birlikte direniyorum…\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Zencefil, art\u0131k sadece bir bitki de\u011fil benim i\u00e7in. O, i\u00e7sel yolculu\u011fumun simgesi. Direncin, kabulleni\u015fin ve d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fcn tad\u0131. Her yudumda, kendime biraz daha yakla\u015f\u0131yorum\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
